Seussical was a truly unique and special production for us, marking our first attempt at an Inclusical. The story of Seussical, written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, is a celebration of the power of imagination and the unbreakable bonds of friendship, themes that were particularly relevant and poignant in light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these challenges, our talented cast and crew came together to create a concert performance that was a testament to the resilience and spirit of our community. With its timeless message and unforgettable score, Seussical was a reminder of the magic that can be found in the face of adversity and a celebration of the joy and hope that music can bring. Our performance was a heartwarming and uplifting tribute to the enduring power of this beloved musical.

A REFLECTION FROM EITAN

“The theatrical experience bears a unique unnameable magic. Perhaps it is the way it unites diverse individuals, perhaps it is the breathless moment of fear before the curtain rises, or the immense self-pride during the final bows.

I may not know what draws me back every time to the stage, but I am eternally grateful for the liturgy of life skills it has befitted me.

This year Stars and the Moon has worked to bring the theatrical experience to a new group of people in a unique way. My dream was to create a theatrical experience that allows performers with and without disabilities to share the spotlight, shining equally on stage, brightly, albeit very differently, as bright as the stars and the moon. While we were not able to stage our full show this year, we achieved so much more than we could have imagined. We set a high standard for ourselves and our cast members, and reaped the benefits. Thank you to the cast and crew for their unyielding passion, perseverance and optimism.”
